arranged on a terrace of the same; the tree in the centre the highest,
those along side it smallest and those at the outer edges of medium
height.

french heraldist Arnaud d'Abzac described this coat of arms in 1790.
The most famous Canetoli’s noble families of Bologna roll of Arms 1795
recorded the family on page 317.
Rietstap described the Campagnoli Coat
of Arms as: Campagnoli Bologne “D'or à cinq arbres de sinople, rangés
sur une terrasse du même, l'arbre du milieu le plus élevé et les deux
arbres dont il est accosté plus petits. (Rietstap, Europe)
