University New Orleans where he teaches courses in cognition and
development and researches higher order mental processes across the
lifespan. He is an active member of the Association for Psychological
Science, the Society for the Teaching of Psychology, the Louisiana

The fleurs-de-lis and crown in the achievement of arms reflect
the armiger’s believed descent from the Franks and Saxons while
the sun is symbolic of the search for scientific knowledge and
spiritual enlightenment. The pelican and red, wavy design elements
represent the armiger's Louisiana heritage as well as the waters
of the Red and Mississippi Rivers around which he has spent most
of his life.
The “psi-de-lis” or “psy-de-lys” heraldic badge recalls the
armiger's cultural heritage and his work as a psychologist. The
armiger designed this unique device as a fleur-de-lis Or with foot
extended and arms upturned in the form of the Greek letter psi. |
