Rendition of Arms by Natalie Yegorov, Russian College of Heraldry.
The armiger has a genealogical
line to ancestors in the Isle of Wight, Virginia (USA) in the early
1630s. However, the Penningtons have circumstantial evidence that this
branch of Penningtons is linked to cadet branches of the Penningtons
of Muncaster, Cumberland/Cumbria, England. For this reason the armiger
drew inspiration from the Pennington of Muncaster arms (Or, five
fusils in fess Azure) but he heavily differenced the armorial
achievement. The choice of Or and Azure as primary colours of the arms
pays tribute to the Muncaster Penningtons as does the crest and motto
chosen.
The armiger holds an undergraduate degree in finance from the
University of Louisville and a master’s degree in business from
Indiana University. He serves as a federal bank examiner for the
United States of America and primarily regulates banks in the Chicago,
Illinois (USA) area. Prior to public service, the armiger held
Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant
designations from The American College, a Chartered Wealth Advisor
designation from Michigan State University, a Certified Financial
Planner designation from the College of Financial Planning, and
several securities and insurance licenses.
Having performed charitable work for a handful of regnant and
non-regnant royals, he has been recognized with an honour from one of
the reigning traditional kings of Uganda. The armiger married Deborah
Michelle Johnson on April 22, 2001 and they reside in northern
Illinois.
